For the unenlightened, Fandom Day is a day designated for celebrating your fandom of choice—or multiple fandoms as the case may be.

What are you wearing?
Today, I’m proud to be wearing Red for Marvel, Blue for Doctor Who, and Gray for Other, which, duh, has to be Lord of the Rings.
This is an awesome idea. Seriously, what’s better than celebrating all your favorite fandoms at once?
That got me thinking, “What are some fun ways you could celebrate Fandom Day?”
Here’s what I came up with:
- Spend all day randomly quoting lines from your favorite books, movies, and TV shows
- Hop onto social media and geek out with your fellow fandom friends
- Wear the colors of your favorite fandoms all day, even to the grocery store and work
- Watch your favorite movie or TV show
- Dress up in your fandom colors and post a picture on social media to show where your loyalties lie
- Register for that comicon you know you should attend
- Use it as an excuse to buy some fandom merchandise
- Share your favorite fandoms and your reason for loving them so much
- Participate in Confusing the Muggles Day
- Head over to The Fandom, where you can take quizzes, play games, and enjoy all other sorts of fandom fun

Nice. I used to think Lord of the Rings was the only “cool” thing, then I found out about Marvel, DC, Hunger Games, Doctor Who, and I was like, “Oh my gosh, what have I been missing?”
